Privacy Policy

Outrise is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. There are no user accounts, and we never see or store your card details. This policy explains what we do handle.

Information you provide

• Listing content — the app name, tagline, link, category, handle, and imagery you submit. This is public by design: it is shown on the leaderboard and 3D world to everyone.
• Payment details — collected and processed directly by DodoPayments, our Merchant of Record. We receive a confirmation and metadata about the transaction (such as amount and a payment reference), but not your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we may collect basic technical data — such as IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed — to keep the Service running, prevent abuse and fraud, and understand aggregate usage. We may use privacy-respecting analytics and essential/local storage for functionality (for example, remembering a UI preference).

How we use information

• to display listings and operate the leaderboard and 3D world;
• to process and confirm payments through our payment provider;
• to prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms and Rules;
• to maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us operate — notably DodoPayments (payments), and our hosting and analytics providers — under their own terms. Listing content is public. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep listing and transaction records as long as needed to operate the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. Because rank is cumulative, listings and their payment history are generally retained while the Service runs.

Your choices

You can request removal of a listing you control or ask about the data associated with it via Contact. Note that removing a listing does not refund payments (see the Refund Policy), and some records are retained for legal/accounting reasons.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security & changes

We take reasonable measures to protect data but no system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy; material changes take effect when posted here. Questions? See Contact.
