Terms of Service

Effective September 9, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Outrise (the “Service”), a public 3D leaderboard where anyone can claim a plot on a virtual island and grow a tower by making payments. By using the Service or claiming a plot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you. Outrise has no user accounts — you claim and pay anonymously.

2. How the Service works

  • A plot’s tower height and leaderboard rank are determined by the total amount ever paid toward it (cumulative — it never decreases).
  • Claiming a plot requires a minimum payment (currently $5). You may pay more to start taller, and pay again later to rise.
  • Rank is a function of spend only. Anyone can pay more and pass you at any time.
  • A listing goes live only after its payment is confirmed by our payment provider.

3. Your submission and content

You are solely responsible for the app name, tagline, link, handle, imagery, and other content you submit. You represent that:

  • you own it or are authorized to submit it, and it does not infringe anyone’s rights;
  • it is accurate and not misleading, and does not impersonate any person or brand;
  • it is not illegal, deceptive, malicious, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited by our Rules.

You grant Outrise a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and promote your listing on and in connection with the Service.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by DodoPayments, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, who handles the transaction, billing, and applicable taxes. Prices are shown before you pay. Except as stated in our Refund Policy, all payments are final and non-refundable. Payments are voluntary contributions toward your rank and buy no guarantee of traffic, exposure, results, or any minimum time at a given rank.

5. Moderation and removal

We may review, reject, hide, or remove any listing, and suspend the Service, at our discretion — including for violations of these Terms or the Rules — without a refund. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, 3D world, and software, belongs to Outrise. These Terms grant you no rights in it beyond using the Service as intended.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that listings are accurate or trustworthy. Links and listings are user-submitted; we do not endorse them and are not responsible for third-party sites.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outrise and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Outrise harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes take effect when posted here. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
